- Cancer
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Depression
- Liver disease
- Sleep Apnoea
How much will it cost?
There is a one off £10 joining fee. After that there is a monthly fee of £40 a month. This is paid a month in advance. There are NO contracts and no minimum tie in period, so if you do not think it is working for you, you simply don’t renew. Periodically, we have special offers, so do check if there are currently any offers running.
Your monthly subscription gives you access to a weekly appointment with a healthcare assistant. We see sustainable weight loss as a journey, and we will share that journey with you.
If you are not finding good enough results with just the changes to your lifestyle, your membership also entitles you to an appointment with a prescriber. They can discuss and prescribe for you other options. This may include the slimJECTION pen or other weight loss tablets. Different options will be suitable for different people. The cost varies from less than £1 a tablet to upto £90 for slimJECTION pen.
How much weight can I lose?
Studies show an average weight loss of 13lbs, after one three week course of the slimJECTION pen. Using it once a day while following our medically supervised plan will give you the best results. Multiple drug trials have shown great success rates of the injection. It’s mode of action and other information shall be discussed with you prior to you being prescribed it. The pen will not be suitable for everyone, and you have to undergo a consultation to assess your suitability. We do also need to look at an individual’s lifestyle, including a food diary and monitoring activity levels.
Who is eligible for the weight loss clinic?
The plan is open for all. We have had clients ranging in age from their early teens right through to their late 70s. Everyone is an individual and we offer different treatment plans for different people. Your suitability for any medication is at the discretion of the prescriber.
Do you offer any guarantees?
In short, no. Everyone is different. The vast majority of clients we have seen have experienced weight loss. However, there’s no magic wand. For maximum results we do need improvements in diet (primarily) and exercise.
Is the SlimJECTION pen safe?
You are in safe hands. Every client has a face-to-face medical and clinical assessment as well as a comprehensive health screening with our prescriber. You should allow yourself an hour for the first appointment if you are considering the pen. We offer support and after-care to ensure risk factors to your health are kept to an absolute minimum.
Is the slimJECTION plan only available on prescription?
The plan is open to all, and is primarily run by trained health care assistants. Any medications used within the plan are only available with a prescription and can only be prescribed by a medical professional with a prescribing qualification. Not everyone is suitable for every medical treatment.
Do I need to tell my doctor that I'm participating in the weight loss clinic?
You are not under any obligation to tell your own GP. However we may recommend that you do in specific cases.
If we have any doubt as to how safe the medication is for you, we may wish to request your GP is happy for you to start the medication.
We will not under any circumstances prescribe any medication for you if we feel that your health would be at risk or you are contraindicated for the treatment.
Can I participate online without a face-to-face consultation?
No, we do not currently provide any element of the weight loss clinic without a full clinical health screening and a comprehensive medical consultation. We believe it is important to always think of your safety first.
The sale of medication in bulk or the prescription of medication without prior clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber is dangerous and unethical.
Counterfeit operatives, often based overseas, offer no guarantee that their products are genuine and may be dangerous to your health.
